Basketball Institute Sessions FOR THE WEEK OF
FEBRUARY 19TH - 25TH
Monday, February 20th
5:30-6:30pm 3rd - 5th Grade Boys and Girls
Tuesday, February 21st
6:30-7:30pm 6th and 7th Grade Boys
Wednesday, February 22nd
6:30-7:30pm 6th - 8th Grade Girls
Thursday, February 23rd
Friday, February 24th
7:00-8:00pm 8th and 9th Grade Boys
** REMINDER: if you have not yet made your first payment - please plan to pay one half of your 12 week session fee or one third of your 18 week session fee. **
End of Winter League Dates Announced
Maine Hoops and the southern maine sportszone are pleased to announce the dates for thier upcoming end of winter league. League play will begin the weekend of February 11th and run through the weekend of March 10th. The End of winter legaue guarantees each team a minimum of ten games over the five week league. Cost for the league is $500.
teams paying their entry fee in full prior to February 4th will receive a $50. discount
the league is for teams in grades 5 through 8.

Creating basketball opportunities for players of all ability levels where Sportsmanship and Player Development are the focus. Maine Hoops believes basketball can teach many of life’s lessons on the court, if character and fair play are always part of the process.

Mission Statement
The mission of AAU is to give lifelong progression of sport programs for persons of all ages, races, and creeds to enhance the physical, mental and moral development of amateur athletes, and to promote good sportsmanship, good citizenship and safety.
Maine Hoop's mission is to provide as many opportunities to as many kids a possible to participate in AAU events. By sponsoring teams one of Maine Hoop's goals is to provide access to all kids to participate in events.
Maine Hoops also provides direct scholarship opportunities to the most needy of athletes, so athletes who truly want to participate will not be denied, due to lack of money.
In 2004-2005 over 2000 young men and women from the State of Maine participated in Maine Hoops AAU Basketball events.
Close to 1000 athletes from across New England participate in Maine Hoops events.
